Christmas with Meaning
SIGMATEK donates for the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
Marianne Kusejko, SIGMATEK management, presenting the donation to Dominik Steinbichler from the Children's Cancer FoundationInstead of investing money in customer gifts, the automation technology manufacturer SIGMATEK, decided to donate 3,000 euros to support children diagnosed with cancer and their families.
“With our donation we would like to support the Salzburg Children's Cancer Foundation’s important projects and put a little smile on the faces of these brave children and youth and their families,” says general manager Marianne Kusejko, explaining SIGMATEK’s commitment to the Salzburg Children's Cancer Foundation.
“What could be better than people and companies who, in these difficult times, also think of those who are fighting against cancer. Each year, up to 80 children in Salzburg are diagnosed with this treacherous disease. Luckily over 80% of affected children survive their cancer thanks to modern medicine and psychosocial support. Despite this, a cancer diagnosis changes everything—the life of the child, their parents and relatives. Therefore, we need every euro to support of our little patients and their families,” says Heide Janek, chairperson of the Salzburg Children’s Cancer Foundation, thanking SIGMATEK.
