New trade fair appearance - New products - New concepts
In the triad of motion control, drives and robotics, Yaskawa will be focusing on "#onesourcesolutions" around the automation platform iCube Control at SPS - Smart Production Solutions 2025 from 25-27 November (Stand 7-340 in Hall 7).

The solution provider will also be showcasing integrated control concepts and new frequency inverter variants that enable machine manufacturers to further reduce their "time to market" in economically challenging times, for example by allowing several programmers to work on a project simultaneously.

Platform iCube Control
The iCube Control platform is based on the open PLCnext technology from Phoenix Contact and combines classic PLC programming (IEC 61131-3) with modern high-level languages such as C/C++, C# or MATLAB® Simulink® - in a real-time Linux environment with a focus on cyber security in accordance with IEC 62443.

Yaskawa expands this basis with comprehensive expertise in the areas of motion control and robotics. The result is a powerful automation system that optimally combines hardware and software and significantly simplifies the development of mechatronic systems.

In the current version, for example, Delta and Scara robots can be integrated into handling, packaging or other complex systems synchronously with Yaskawa servo technology without the need for an additional robot controller. As Yaskawa will be demonstrating in two live demo cells on the stand, in addition to the practical advantages of a standardized automation platform, fewer components are also required.

The cells also make it clear that the iCube Control automation platform reaches its full potential in combination with the Sigma-X high-end AC servo system. This latest evolution of the Sigma series offers maximum motion performance, including vibration suppression and friction compensation, while at the same time further simplifying handling and commissioning.

Machine Integrated Robotic Approach „#onesourcesolutions“
The result of this combination is the Machine Integrated Robotic approach "#onesourcesolutions": Because this means that only a single controller is required to control multiple robots and servo drives, integration is significantly simplified and operational efficiency is increased at the same time. As a broad-based provider, Yaskawa is able to supply all the necessary elements from a single source - from individual components and software to complete solutions. Robots, drive technology, motion control, HMI, IOs and IIoT readiness are thus seamlessly integrated, making this system unique.

New frequency inverters
Yaskawa will also be presenting the new HV600 frequency inverter, which has been specially developed for building automation. With its functions specially tailored to the HVAC market for controlling fans, pumps or compressors, the HV600 series exceeds the previous requirements of the industry. HV600 sets new standards in the industry with greater flexibility, more control and minimal downtime.

Also new is the Floor Standing solution with U1000, a state-of-the-art frequency inverter based on Yaskawa's innovative Matrix technology. This individually configurable package provides a robust and reliable control cabinet solution - designed for harsh industrial environments with DC-link-free U1000 technology. With full regenerative capability and compliance with IEEE519 mains harmonics, the U1000 cabinet solution is a future-proof system that sets the standard for power quality and energy savings, and offers high flexibility in configuring the cabinet for various industrial applications with high demands on efficiency, availability and sustainability.
