Emitech's EMCEM (ElectroMagnetic Characterization of Electrical Motor) test facility aims to characterize an electric vehicle motor from an electromagnetic compatibility perspective. It is the result of the know-how of the various subsidiaries that make up the Emitech Group. One of the operational branches, works on current and future mobility solutions. Its expertise in the design and validation of electric, hybrid and traditional powertrains has led to the development of highly dynamic benches that simulate the entire powertrain as well as the road profiles required for the various design and validation stages. The second operational branch of the Group corresponds to the various laboratories and engineering services whose purpose is to qualify equipment in relation to its expected life profile or to homologate the equipment. Among the areas of expertise is EMC or Electromagnetic Compatibility.
The synergies between these areas of expertise have resulted in the new EMCEM test facility, which is unique in Europe.
Fives, one of the world’s most preferred partners for transforming supply chain facilities, was chosen by Swiss Post to improve its facilities and optimize the performance of its flows. Swiss Post, Switzerland’s national postal service provider, among many other services delivers registered or express mails and parcels nationally and internationally – a challenge in times of booming e-commerce.
With its redundancy function, the high-performance RFC 4072R PLCnext Control device from Phoenix Contact is ideal for use in high-availability applications. This PLC is a part of the PLCnext Technology ecosystem, currently the most open automation platform on the market.
Not on location in Nuremberg, but still live and close to customers: Despite the cancellation of the SPS, HARTING is offering the entire programme that customers would have experienced at the trade fair: digital customer appointments with the experts of the Technology Group, interviews and webinars, as well as daily updates.
All for Energy with Han® S connectors and cable assemblies. Benefit from minimal wiring input on site and shorter installation times: fielding its Han® S connector, HARTING is now presenting an ideal solution for assembling energy storage systems (ESS) based on battery storage modules – thereby making vital contributions to the establishment of high-performance infrastructures for decentralised energy supply.
In-house carrier-tape forming cuts costs, boosts throughput, increases flexibility. Adaptsys, leaders in component carrier tape manufacture, today announced it has supplied the Re-flex II pocket tape system to Mário Da Costa Martins & Filho (MCM), a supplier of specialist automotive parts based in Braga, Portugal.
In order to create a fully networked production line, developers require in-depth knowledge of drive and automation systems. Help is at hand from the MOVI-C® modular automation system from SEW-EURODRIVE.
