Alva Industries, a manufacturer of frameless motors and owner and creator of FiberPrinting™ technology, has announced the publication of a series of new white papers on FiberPrinted™ motors for high-performance applications.
The White Papers can be downloaded directly through the links below:
- Enabling Embodied AI with SlimTorq™
- FiberPrinted™ motors for high-precision SWaP Gimbals
- FiberPrinted™ motors in marine thrusters
- SlimTorq™ motors for powered prosthetics
- SlimTorq™ motors for Quasi Direct Drive robotic joints
FiberPrinting™ technology is an advanced industrial winding technique used for the continuous winding of stator mats in slotless and ironless rotary and linear motors. This method maximizes copper fill factor and enables precise customization of size and stator configuration, resulting in the optimal combination of torque-density and precision in any size and form-factor.
The white papers are located in a newly launched Papers & Download area on the Alva website. This section will be regularly updated with new papers covering a variety of topics, along with practical tools for immediate use.
“FiberPrinting™ is redefining what’s possible in electric motor design,” said Nicolas Giraudo, CCO at Alva Industries. “By enabling new levels of design freedom, performance, and scalability, it opens up possibilities that were previously out of reach. We’re excited to launch this initial set of application-focused white papers and provide engineers with a deeper understanding of how FiberPrinted™ motors can unlock new levels of performance across demanding use cases.”
