VECOW AND COGNITEAM JOIN FORCES TO STREAMLINE AMR DEPLOYMENT AND MANAGEMENT

Vecow has announced a strategic partnership with Cogniteam, a leading developer of AI software for autonomous robots and AIoT devices. The collaboration aims to integrate Cogniteam’s cloud robotics platform with Vecow’s EAC-6000 series Edge AI Computing System powered by the NVIDIA Jetson™ platform.

AMRs have become vital in various sectors, including manufacturing, logistics, intralogistics, retail and healthcare, due to their ability to provide operational flexibility. However, managing these robots across distributed sites remains a challenge. The integration of Congniteam’s cloud robotics platform with Vecow’s high-performance AI computing system aims to address this issue by using the NVIDIA Isaac™ platform and enabling seamless remote deployment and management of AMR fleets.

The Vecow EAC-6000 series, powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin™ NX system-on-module, offers up to 100 TOPS of AI processing power, making it suitable for demanding vision AI workloads. The system boasts extensive I/O interfaces, including 6 GigE LAN ports with 4 PoE+, USB 3.1 Gen 2 port, 2 USB 3.1 ports, 2 COM RS-232/422/485 ports, 1 CAN Bus port, 7 GPIO pins and 4 GMSL interfaces with PoE+. These features make the EAC-6000 series ideal for edge AI AMR controllers in facilitating AI (Artificial Intelligence) and AP (Artificial Perception) applications for precision positioning, real-time 3D mapping, and enhanced safety features. Meanwhile, the EAC-6000 series supports the NVIDIA JetPack™ 6.0 software development kit, which expands the Jetson platform’s flexibility and scalability to accelerate AI application deployment.
