T 4000HS, High-Speed/High-Productivity Tapping Centers
T 4000HS, whose optimized machining capability, feed-rate and tool change will maximize productivity in automotive and IT parts processing in particular.
With the direct drive spindle offered as a standard feature for unrivaled machining accuracy, the new model reduces acceleration/deceleration and non-cutting time while maintaining high precision even during prolonged machining operations thanks to the adoption of a thermal compensation function. The product is also designed to facilitate the adoption of a rotary table and robot automation.
Application of New High-precision Spindle
The model’s new direct drive spindle maintains stable precision even when operating at maximum speed by reinforcing high precision, vibration and dynamic rigidity in the directions of the X/Z axes to realize a high speed of 24000 r/min. With a maximum torque of 11.8 N.m and a maximum output of 3.7kW, the new product boasts especially outstanding performance in aluminum processing, and delivers even higher productivity to customers with its upgraded spindle acceleration/deceleration performance and the adoption of an ISO 30 tool holder as a standard feature.
Failure-free Higher Reliability
The servo-driven model offers 21 tools as a standard. Reliability and durability have been further improved through a total of 2 million tests and verifications based on a position control method using servo motors. In addition, it is even more reliable as the spindle’s length has been optimized, leading to a shorter acceleration/deceleration time and greater operational efficiency. It also delivers the highest level of operational precision by calculating the required amount of compensation based on the spindle temperature information and by automatically correcting thermal deviation of the spindle.
Improvements in User Convenience and Stability
The new model can also be equipped with the basic Doosan Fanuc i Plus and Doosan's unique DOOSAN CNC D300. It is now easier to operate as its size has been reduced by lowering the table’s height, while the design of the gravity center has been optimized.
