DMT Partook in Beijing CIMT 21 (17th China International Machine Tool Show)

DMT participated in CIMT 2021 held in Beijing, China from April 12th to 17th.

China-Doosan Machine Tools (CEO: Jae-seop Kim) participated in CIMT 2021 held in Beijing, China for 6 days from April 12th to the 17th, to introduce DMT’s top-tier machining solutions worldwide with a focus on high-end 5-axis, multitasking molding, and automated processes under the banner of ‘MACHINE GREATNESS.’

DMT featured a total of 6 models, including a 5-axis machining center equipped with high-end technology, a multitasking turning center optimized for complex machining, a robotic automation solution specialized for the Chinese market, and new product models developed in China to meet the customers increasingly diverse needs of products that requires machine tools equipped with 5-axis/multitasking/automated processing technology.

DVF 5000, a compact simultaneous 5-axis machining center capable of high-speed, multi-tasking machining
At the trade show, DMT introduced DVF 5000, a 5-axis machining center equipped with high productivity and precision. The DVF 5000 is equipped with a 40-taper spindle of up to 18000 rpm and a high-performance CNC controller to realize simultaneous 5-axis control and precise contour processing. It comes with a 500mm rotary table that enhances user convenience and work efficiency while minimizing interference during processing. AWC (automatic workpiece change) of up to 12 pieces enables operators to realize unattended machining.

- PUMA SMX 2600ST, a process-intensive multitasking turning center
The PUMA SMX series is a next-generation multitasking turning center with high productivity, precise machining capability, and convenient operability. It is a multitasking machine tool realizing both high productivity and high precision. It comes with a 10 and 12-inch chuck (15-inch option), a maximum processing length of 2540mm, and a maximum processing diameter of 660 mm, enabling users to process large and long workpieces into various forms.

PUMA SMX 2600ST has a maximum travel distance of 695mm in the X-axis, 1585mm in the Z-axis, and 300mm in the Y-axis. Its rapid travel speed is 48, 48, 36 m/min. in X-, Z-, Y-axes, respectively. Its strong multitasking capability guarantees high productivity.

- NHP 8005, a high-speed, high-productivity horizontal machining center
At the trade show, DMT featured NHP 8005, a new high-speed, high-productivity horizontal machining center produced in the Chinese factory. Its travel distance on the X-, Y- and Z-axes is 1400, 1200, and 1370mm, respectively. It comes with a spindle speed of 10000 rpm, the maximum power of 45 kw, and the maximum torque of 600Nm. Designed as a fast acceleration/deceleration structure that minimizes vibration and heat, it delivers outstanding cutting performance through high-speed, high-performance spindles.

Additionally, DMT introduced specialized processing items for the automotive industry, the new 2-axis horizontal turning center, Lynx 2105LY, produced in China, and DNM 5705+PUMA V8305 robotic automation solutions. In line with the theme of the trade show, DMT introduced its increasingly smart machine tools and its flexible, highly productive 5-axis/multitasking/robotic automation solutions, deeply impressing visitors at its booth.
