COMPACT PLUG-IN COUPLING WITH PUSH-PULL SLEEVE

With the revised QRC-ID coupling series, Stauff presents a new product that was developed especially for stationary hydraulics. The essential design features include convenient operation, compact dimensions and particularly high corrosion resistance.

COMPACT PLUG-IN COUPLING WITH PUSH-PULL SLEEVE

The QRC-ID is ideal for users of stationary hydraulic systems looking for a compact, convenient plug-in coupling for rough ambient conditions and a rated pressure up to 400 bar. This coupling series, which has now been revised by Stauff, is perfect for adverse operating parameters due to the highly effective corrosion protection alone.

The zinc-nickel-based corrosion protection coating offers maximum resistance against red rust/base metal corrosion under real operating conditions. After intensive testing, it is therefore the preferred coating at Stauff and has already proven successful in other series. It exceeds even the highest requirements of corrosion protection class K5, which are defined in VDMA standards sheet 24576 for tube connections. The high ductility of the coating is the prerequisite for the above-average wear protection under high mechanical strain.

The convenient operation of the couplings should also be mentioned. To release the coupling, the operator only has to actuate the push sleeve. Coupling is achieved by simply pushing in the coupling while actuating the push sleeve. A high-quality cone valve ensures good flow rates and reliable shut-off of the media line.

In addition, the QRC-ID couplings now feature a coding which allows quick identification and traceability. The high safety factor of the coupling is also typical for Stauff: The bursting pressure is at least four times the operating pressure.

The series is available from stock in four sizes (DN 6.3, DN 10, DN 19 and DN 25) for operating pressures up to 400 bar (depending on coupling size). The compact design allows use even in tight machine spaces.
