Rodriguez Expands Precision Bearing Portfolio at AMB 2026

Rodriguez GmbH will present its latest precision bearing and linear motion technologies for machine tool manufacturing at AMB 2026, taking place from 15–19 September 2026 in Stuttgart, Germany. The exhibition will focus on rotary positioning systems, linear motion solutions and configurable components for industrial automation.
Precision bearings for rotary positioning
Machine tools require bearing systems capable of maintaining rigidity, positioning accuracy and load capacity under demanding operating conditions. Rodriguez will showcase its RTB series of axial-radial cylindrical roller bearings, designed for rotary tables, tool tables, milling heads and additional rotary axes.
The bearings are engineered to accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions while transmitting tilting moments. Their design supports repeatable positioning and running accuracy required in precision machining applications. The product family has recently been expanded with sizes 650 and 850, extending its suitability for larger machine tool systems.
Bearing variants for different operating requirements
The RTB series includes several configurations optimized for different operating conditions.
The RTB Standard version is intended for general rotary positioning tasks. RTB-HSA is designed for applications requiring reduced friction torque and higher rotational speeds. RTB-AMS incorporates an inductive, non-contact measuring system that remains resistant to demanding industrial environments while allowing different resolution and accuracy levels.
RTB-ABS integrates an absolute encoder directly into the bearing assembly. This enables the rotational axis position to be available immediately after power-up without requiring a reference run. The design reduces machine commissioning time and supports integration into machine control systems through multiple communication interfaces.
Linear motion for collaborative robots
Rodriguez will also present the MovoTrak Cobot Transfer Unit (CTU), a linear motion system developed to extend the operating range of collaborative robots. The solution introduces a movable seventh axis, enabling a single cobot to serve multiple workstations within one production system.
The system is built on two linear units designed to provide rigidity and torque capacity even when the robot arm is fully extended. Rodriguez supplies the complete assembly with motors, gearboxes and application-specific configuration to simplify integration into industrial automation systems.
Customized engineering solutions
Alongside standard products, Rodriguez provides customized bearing and linear motion solutions that can be adapted to specific machine designs and application requirements.
