ADLINK Introduces Globally Certified Industrial PC Platforms

ADLINK Technology Inc. has expanded its industrial computing portfolio with the introduction of the IAP (Industrial Automation Platform) and EVP (Embedded Value Platform) series, designed to address regulatory complexity and deployment scalability for globally operating equipment manufacturers.

Industrial PCs increasingly need to meet multiple regional safety and electromagnetic compliance requirements to support parallel market launches. The new platforms are engineered around unified certification coverage, allowing a single hardware design to be deployed across regions without modification. The IAP series carries CB, UL, LVD, CE and FCC certifications, while the EVP series meets LVD, CE and FCC requirements, supporting deployment across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific markets.

The IAP series targets high-performance industrial workloads, including semiconductor manufacturing equipment, machine control systems, precision vision inspection and AI inference. Built around Intel Core 200S Series and current Intel Core processors, the IAP-M47-4U and IAP-E47-4U are designed for continuous operation in industrial environments, using reinforced mechanical construction, vibration-resistant design and high-throughput data paths. The IAP-M47-4U is optimized for compute-intensive tasks such as AI processing and multi-camera vision, while the IAP-E47-4U prioritizes power efficiency and flexible I/O expansion for control-focused and mixed-use systems.

The EVP series addresses space-constrained edge and vision applications. Its 1U form factor integrates processing, storage, I/O and PCIe expansion into a compact enclosure suitable for smart retail systems, self-service terminals, distributed control nodes and commercial automation equipment. By standardizing on a compact, globally compliant platform, system designers can reduce hardware variants and simplify scaling across regions.

In addition to certification coverage, ADLINK positions both platform families within a pre-validated ecosystem of industrial components. Compatibility has been verified with motion control cards, PoE vision capture, synchronized data acquisition, GPU acceleration modules and industrial-grade SSDs. This approach reduces system integration effort by eliminating card-level compatibility testing and stability tuning, which is typically required when combining third-party components.

Remote monitoring and lifecycle management are supported through ADLINK’s EdgeGO device management platform, enabling centralized supervision of distributed systems and supporting maintenance across geographically dispersed installations.

The IAP and EVP industrial computer platforms are available globally in barebone and pre-configured variants, supporting OEMs, ODMs and system integrators in shortening development cycles and accelerating deployment of industrial equipment across multiple markets.
