The modular PLC-Interface Ethernet Gateway remote relay system from Phoenix Contact with flexible channel assignment optimizes simple applications with up to 56 I/O channels. The compatibility with common controller software makes a high level of flexibility and intuitive network integration possible.

The new remote relay system enables flexible channel configuration with digital and analog inputs and outputs as well as temperature modules and Ex modules. With their compact design, the modules are particularly suitable for simple applications with small to medium numbers of channels in decentral control boxes. The remote relay system enables users to optimize decentral applications. Digital and analog signals are reliably recorded, while temperature and analog values are processed precisely with a 10-bit resolution (value range 0 - 1,000).

An innovative network module with a high-performance chipset enables multi-protocol connection including Profinet Class C and S2 redundancy. The compatibility with established controller software makes integration into the control level intuitive and time-saving. Firmware updates ensure the continuous extension of functions and optimum performance. With up to 56 individually configurable channels, the solution can be tailored precisely to the respective application.

The system compatibility with the PLC-Interface relay system enables simple function extensions in existing systems. This ecosystem features a wide range of functions, from simple coupling relays right through to relay modules with integrated circuit breakers.
