PILZ OFFERS NEW RADAR SENSORS PLUS ANALYSING UNIT FOR SAFE PROTECTION ZONE MONITORING - SAFE PROTECTION ZONE MONITORING, INCLUDING FOR ROBOTICS

For safe protection zone monitoring even in rugged conditions, the Pilz portfolio now includes another sensor for the safe radar system PSENradar: the new radar sensor PSEN rd1.2 can be used for Cat. 3 / PL d and so can safely protect robot applications too. In conjunction with the equally new analysing unit PSEN rd1.x I/O PN, it is now even easier to incorporate the safe radar system into existing applications, so optimising commissioning.

Pilz at Smart Production Solutions SPS 2021 (Hall 9, Stand 370) – Focus on complete, individual solutions for safety, security and automation - Individual machinery safety: "Your" safety!

Under the exhibition slogan "Create your safety", at the international exhibition SPS Smart Production Solutions (23. – 25.11.2021) Pilz will be exhibiting safe automation solutions, covering aspects of safety (machinery safety) and industrial security in equal measure. Exhibition focus: solutions that are individually adaptable and so save costs, as they don't need to be oversized.

THE WEB-BASED VISUALISATION SOFTWARE PASVISU NOW WITH MODBUS/TCP INTERFACE AND SECURE-CLIENT – OPEN FOR ALL VISUALISATION TASKS - BUT SECURE

Obtain a fast, comprehensive overview of a plant: that’s the purpose of Pilz’s web-based visualisation software PASvisu. The new version of PASvisu now also supports the Modbus/TCP protocol. The protocol enables all controllers to be connected quickly, along with other industrial components. The update also includes a secure Client/Server connection, enabling data from the PASvisu Server to be transferred safely to the user's visualisation system.

PILZ: NEW VERSIONS OF THE SAFETY BOLT PSENBOLT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MECHANICAL SAFETY GATE SYSTEM PSENMECH WITH GUARD LOCKING - STOPPING MANIPULATION

New versions of the safety bolt PSENbolt from Pilz are now available for combination with the mechanical safety gate system PSENmech with guard locking: users can choose between standard versions and versions with a key. The safe complete solution consists of a mechanical bolt, handle and the new flexible, combinable safety switch. As such it represents a more flexible, cost-effective safety gate solution for personal and process protection.

CONFIGURABLE SMALL CONTROLLER PNOZMULTI 2 WITH NEW EXPANSION MODULE FOR DRIVE MONITORING - MONITOR AXES SAFELY AND EFFICIENTLY

The new motion monitoring module PNOZ m EF 1MM2DO from the configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2 now also offers cascading and delayed shutdown functions in the field of safe motion monitoring. By monitoring up to eight safety functions on one axis, the new motion monitoring module provides efficient drive applications, thereby protecting both capital goods and the machine.

SAFETY LASER SCANNER PSENSCAN FROM PILZ WITH UP TO THREE SEPARATE SAFETY ZONES AND UP TO 70 SWITCHABLE CONFIGURATIONS - MORE FLEXIBLE AND PRODUCTIVE MONITORING OF MOBILE AND STATIONARY APPLICATIONS

Additional digital inputs and outputs are now available for the safety laser scanner PSENscan: Up to 70 switchable configurations can now be implemented and up to three separate safety zones can be monitored simultaneously thanks to the new 17-pin and master encoder types. So stationary areas can be monitored more productively – also using the new partial dynamic muting for example. And new functions for the intralogistics sector – such as encoder evaluation, standby mode and more precise navigation – also provide for more efficient monitoring of mobile applications.

GERMAN INNOVATION AWARD (GIA) CONFIRMS THE INNOVATION LEVEL OF THE WORLD'S FIRST SAFETY RELAY IN BATCH SIZE 1 - MYPNOZ: “WINNER” IN ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGIES!

The Baden-Württemberg-based automation company Pilz has just been announced as winner in the “Electronic Techologies” category for its innovative, customisable safety relay myPNOZ. For the first time, customers can use the Creator to simply “create online” their own individual safety relay in the spirit of Industrie 4.0.
