At LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics, from 25 – 27 April, the automation company Pilz will be presenting its complete solution for safe automation and operation of automated guided vehicle systems (AGVS).
Pilz is expanding its offer for the safe use of automated guided vehicle systems (AGVS): In cooperation with NAiSE GmbH, the expert for material flow automation, the automation company Pilz offers the world's first traffic and order management software for all participants in intralogistics – for humans as well as transport systems.
The automation expert Pilz offers manufacturers a new solution package to safeguard automated guided vehicle systems (AGVS), comprising safety and security.
In the range of safe configurable small controllers PNOZmulti 2 from Pilz, the new standalone base unit PNOZ m C0 is now available. The extremely compact base unit is just 22.5 mm wide and monitors up to four safety functions on machines.
Under the exhibition slogan “Be safe and secure”, at the international exhibition SPS Smart Production Solutions (Nuremberg, 8-10 November 2022), Pilz will be focusing on automation solutions that cover both safety and industrial security on plant and machinery. Focus in terms of content: solutions for access management and safeguarding of mobile machinery and its danger zones.
With the TÜV-SÜD-certified safety solution, which safely monitors the cardboard feed on packaging machines, this step of the process can now be designed to be safe and productive.
With the new remote I/O module PDP67 PN, Pilz is expanding its product portfolio for both decentralised applications and applications directly in the field. Thanks to its robust design with protection class IP67, the module can be installed directly on the machine.
The new safety card PMCprotego S3 expands the drive-integrated safe motion solution PMCprotego DS, adding further safe motion monitoring functions in accordance with EN 61800-5-2. With these functions it is now possible to configure an application-specific error reaction in advance, flexibly and individually via the engineering tool PASmotion. That reduces machine downtimes, so that plants always achieve maximum productivity, despite the most varied of safety requirements. This guarantees high plant availability.
