New Galvo Scanner for Laser Micromachining and Additive Manufacturing
Aerotech, provider of high-performance motion control and positioning systems introduces the AGV-SPO, a new high-performance Galvo Scanner. It offers a larger field of view than conventional 2D scanners, reduces laser spot distortion, and is flexible enough to accommodate a wide range of laser wavelengths thanks to a large variety of mirror surfaces. As a result, the laser scanner is suitable for a wide range of applications, from additive manufacturing to medical devices.

Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, held today a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new building in the Automotive Campus in Helmond, the Netherlands, which will become the base for its industrial automation business in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) The new building will meet rigorous environmental design demands and, given its green credentials, Delta plans to apply for a Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) Gold certification. The new building is currently expected to be operational in 2021, and will eventually house up to 150 employees.

At EMO 2019 NSK presented its new Robustride cylindrical roller bearings for the spindle drives of high speed, high precision machine tools. These advanced bearings feature an optimised cage that facilitates more even lubricant distribution, which in turn reduces bearing wear, especially under high loads. Also launched at the show were NSK’s Robust angular contact ball bearings with improved accuracy class.
