Oriental Motor Expands OVR Small Robots with Full 360° SCARA Robots

Oriental Motor USA announced the launch of two new SCARA robots within the OVR Small Robots lineup—now featuring a Full 360° range of motion for enhanced flexibility, speed, and load capacity. The updated models are designed to optimize point-to-point movements and reduce takt time in automation systems.
What's New
Unlike the previous models which were limited to ±170° on Axis 1 and ±140° on Axis 2, the new Full 360° models allow unrestricted rotation on Axis 1 and extended motion of ±170° on Axis 2. This improvement enables more efficient motion routing, a smaller turning radius, and smoother operation for space-constrained or high-speed applications.
Additional upgrades include:
- Higher Payload Capacity – Now supports up to 10 kg
- Extended Reach Options – Choose from 460 mm or 700 mm
- General Dust Protection – Enhanced mechanical design helps keep out general dust (not rated for IP protection)
