The IO-Link interface ensures convenient parameterization so that the ultrasonic distance sensor can be individually adapted to the relevant industrial requirements. The two modes synchronous and multiplex mode also enable reliable use in complex applications.
The U30T impresses with its long ranges with a small blind spot. A working range of 100 to 1,900 mm can be used as a reflex sensor, while a working range of 100 to 3,800 mm is available as an ultrasonic through-beam barrier. For the use of multiple sensors, the new ultrasonic sensor offers two different operating modes. In automatic synchronous mode, up to 32 sensors can be operated simultaneously and is ideally suited for detecting wooden boards without delay, for example. The multiplex mode is ideal for level detection of large areas and enables the joint operation of up to 16 sensors. The short M30 thread design ensures fast and space-saving installation. Thanks to its IP67 degree of protection, the U30T impresses with its robustness against environmental influences, while parameterization via IO-Link enables fast deployment.
The Highlights at a Glance:
- M30 thread design for fast and space-saving installation
- Long ranges with small blind spot
- Can be used in synchronous or multiplex mode
- Reflex sensor and barrier mode
- High robustness thanks to IP67
- Parameterization via IO-Link 1.1
