Vision Components to introduce Angle measurement sensor & OEM module for triangulation sensors
The angle measurement sensor for sheet metal bending applications, works autonomously & without external computing unit, and the OEM module combines the VC nano 3D-Z triangulation sensor with new arrangement for the camera & laser.
In addition to the VC nano 3D-Z angle measurement sensor, VC is presenting a new, ultra-compact OEM module for the development of individual triangulation sensors.
Vision Components will present its sensor for angle measurement in metal processing at EuroBLECH from October 22-25 in Hanover. In addition, VC will introduce a new, ultra-compact OEM module that enables companies to quickly and easily develop universal sensors for applications with laser triangulation, for example for glue bead and weld seam inspection directly on the tool head.
Angle measurement sensor integrated by numerous machine manufacturers
The VC nano 3D-Z angle measurement sensor optimized for sheet metal bending applications, works autonomously and without an external computing unit. It can be quickly and easily integrated into new and existing systems by bending machine manufacturers and distribution partners and enables the bending process to be adjusted in real time. Leading press brake manufacturers such as Deratech, Doray and Placke already offer the sensor together with their machines. It is also integrated into control systems from Cybelec, Delem, ESA, Laimore and Step Automation, among others, and only needs to be activated. Calibration is not necessary. The sensor unit for angle measurement in sheet metal bending has a large detection range and can cover dies from V6 to V200 with a fixed mounting position, with a typical measurement resolution of better than +/- 0.05°.
Ultra-compact OEM laser sensor
At Euroblech, Vision Components will present an OEM module for the development of individual sensors, that combines the proven technology of the VC nano 3D-Z triangulation sensor with a new arrangement of the mirror elements for the camera and laser. This enables the smallest possible format of only around 69 x 45 x 56 mm. The module with onboard data processing serves as the basis for the rapid development of individual sensors by OEMs and suppliers, for example for applications such as adhesive bead and weld seam inspection directly on the tool head.
