Moxa Announces New Distributor Partnership in Latin America with Tempel Group Colombia
The strategic partnership strengthens Moxa’s supply chain in Latin America and provides local stock for fast deliveries to the area’s industrial, oil & gas, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
Tempel Group Colombia is a division of Tempel Group, an international technology company with locations in 22 countries and more than 45 years of distribution experience. Tempel Group Colombia maintains offices and warehouses in Bogotá, ensuring availability and national coverage, as well as personalized service to each customer. Thirty-five percent of Tempel Group’s personnel are engineers, an important factor in representing Moxa networking equipment.
“Tempel Group Colombia offers a combination of superior customer service and in-depth technological knowledge into the challenges of modern industrial networks,” said Chad Chesney, president of Moxa Americas. “It is also strategically situated in a key area for Moxa’s growth initiatives, which will be instrumental to amplify our footprint in Latin America. I’m looking forward to working with their excellent team to ensure success over the years to come.”
As part of the agreement, Tempel Group Colombia will lend its engineer expertise to build highly resilient, scalable and cost-efficient networks utilizing Moxa’s extensive portfolio of Industial IoT devices and network management software.
Because Tempel Group Colombia has a strong presence in Latin America’s energy sector, it will especially benefit from Moxa end-to-end connectivity, communication and computing solutions that are industry certified and field-proven in substations, power stations, renewable energy operations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and power management for mission-critical facilities. With its technologies, Moxa has successfully equipped more than 7,500 substations, power companies, and distributed energy resources globally.
