Even more powerful: The CP 931 for the DIN rail
The new CPU device from SIGMATEK, the CP 931, impresses with a particularly powerful, low-loss Intel® Core i3 Tiger Lake processor.
The new CPU unit CP 931 from SIGMATEK provides even more automation power for the DIN rail.In combination with the lean Salamander 4 real-time operating system, the CPU unit is the right choice for complex and very fast control, regulation and motion tasks.
4 GB LPDDR4 RAM, 1 MB MRAM, an M.2 SATA SSD (128 GB) and real-time clock (RTC) are integrated as standard. Thanks to robust technology, the CPU can also be used for demanding industrial applications.
Numerous interfaces are easily accessible: 2x Gbit-Ethernet, 2x Industrial Ethernet VARAN, 1x CAN, 2x USB 3.2 type-A, 1x USB 3.2 type-C host and 1x DisplayPort 1.4a. The OPC UA protocol guarantees platform-independent communication between the CPU unit and external participants.
The CP 931 has two 7-segment displays, 14 status LEDs for reading the actual operational state, as well as Set and Reset buttons. Thanks to fanless cooling and a long battery life, the CPU is very low maintenance.
S-DIAS I/O modules can be connected directly to the CP 931 via the bus interface on the side. Like all SIGMATEK automation components, projects are developed and programmed conveniently and flexibly using the object-oriented engineering tool LASAL.
