VECOW UNVEILS VTS-1000 TIME SYNC BOX TAILORED FOR MISSION-CRUCIAL APPLICATIONS
The VTS-1000 empowers a wide range of edge applications, from autonomous and manufacturing to AIoT/Industry 4.0.
Vecow announced the launch of the Time Sync Box designed to address the growing demands for multi-sensor synchronization. Running on a powerful FPGA and featuring Vecow Time Sync Technology, the VTS-1000 delivers exceptional driving safety, navigation accuracy, and reliability, facilitating mission-crucial for autonomous vehicles and robots.
Vecow VTS-1000 is powered by Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC and is paired with the Vecow innovative three key technologies – Time Winding, Time Stamping, and Time Keeping. These technologies will improve multi-sensor synchronization, perception, precision, and positioning capabilities. Time Winding ensures the synchronization of internal clocks for each sensor and then outputs signals in the required time format to the Time Stamping. Time Keeping provides continuous time information unaffected by GNSS reception conditions or interference, thus avoiding issues with time format output.
To enhance the integration of synchronization capabilities for sensors and controllers, the VTS-1000 supports tools such as the daisy chain, enabling the expansion of synchronization channels for sensor nodes and controllers. It integrates dual GNSS antennas and IMU yaw fusion algorithm, ensuring reliable information output through the Ethernet port. Python, one of the most popular entry-level programming languages, provides a user-friendly tool that enables developers to seamlessly integrate systems and configure synchronization protocols and frequency based on sensor requirements.
