FANUC AMERICA DEMONSTRATES ITS LATEST ROBOT AND COBOT SOLUTIONS AT THE BATTERY SHOW
FANUC America and ROBOMACHINEs will demonstrate its latest robotic solutions for the battery and EV industries at the Battery Show, Sept. 12-14 in Novi, Mich., Booth #2545.
FANUC CRX Cobots Demonstrate Enhanced Payload Capacity and AI Inspection
FANUC has expanded the payload capacities of its CRX and CR cobot lines to handle products from 4 to 50kg. FANUC now has 11 cobot model variations that can work in a variety of industrial applications including assembly, inspection, material handling, packaging, palletizing, sanding, welding, and more.
At the show, the CRX-25iA cobot will demonstrate its enhanced 30kg payload capacity by easily handling a 30kg kettlebell with full wrist articulation.
In addition, a FANUC CRX-10iA cobot equipped with AI iRVision® inspects batteries. Battery cells are placed on a table for AI vision inspection by the cobot. The AI vision system compares example images to actual parts as a reference. The compiled image data creates a strong basis for comparison resulting in accurate inspection without requiring a time-consuming setup. The accuracy of AI vision inspection results in better quality control and part consistency.
FANUC’s entire series of CRX collaborative robots are reliable, flexible, and can work for eight years without maintenance. Easy-to-use interactive programming allows operators to teach points using hand guidance or a Tablet TP with drag-and-drop icons.
FANUC SR-20iA SCARA Robot Handling Batteries
At the show, FANUC’s SR-20iA SCARA robot demonstrates moving car batteries between two trays. The demonstration shows the SR-20iA’s ability to precisely handle heavy parts in a wide operating area at high speeds.
The SR-20iA SCARA robot provides flexibility with a large vertical stroke and offers an environmental option for harsh conditions.
All of FANUC’s SCARA robots use iRProgrammer – a web-based interface that lets you program the robot easily and intuitively with a tablet or desktop computer or by using an optional Teach Pendant.
