CARLO GAVAZZI LAUNCHES NEW SERIES OF COMPACT LOW-PROFILE POWER SUPPLIES

Carlo Gavazzi Automation recently launched the new SPME series, compact single-phase low-profile DIN-rail power supplies designed for electrical panels with limited space.

The SPME series consists of 4 frame sizes, starting from 15 W with a width 17.5 mm, to a maximum 100 W with a width of only 70 mm. The low-profile design of the SPME makes it ideal for applications such as building automation and electric car battery chargers. At the same time, its robust design also makes it suitable for applications in industrial automation with space limitations.

The high quality of the SPME power supplies is certified by a series of industry approvals: CE, UKCA, UL 62368-1.

The SPME series comes with a 4 kVAC isolation voltage, which is a mandatory requirement for electrical vehicle charging stations. These power supplies are also extremely suitable for applications where high efficiency and wide operating temperatures are required. Integrated diagnostics and protection functions such as Over Current (OVC), Over Voltage (OVP), Short Circuit (SCP), and Over Temperature (OVT) provide maximum Output protection. The complete range of the SPME assures high operating efficiency of up to 91.5% and a wide operating temperature range from -40ºC to +70ºC (-40ºF to +158ºF).
