DUNKERMOTOREN PRESENTS FIRST CLOUD-BASED NEXOFOX PRODUCT AT THE SPS NUREMBERG
Dunkermotoren, a brand of AMETEK, is also looking forward to the show. This year, for example, the company will be represented with a larger stand area and at a new location. Dunkermotoren will show up together with nexofox, its own IIoT brand, its subsidiary EGS Automation and sister company MAE in Hall 1 at Booth 418.
After the launch in October 2021, nexofox will, for the first time, present itself to the visitors of sps Nuremberg. With Smart Diagnostics, nexofox is launching the first completely cloud-based product. Thus, customers of Dunkermotoren and EGS will for the first time be able to request the status of connected motors completely remotely, easily and from anywhere. All nexofox software products are developed according to the AAS approach and the Industrial Digital Twin Association (IDTA). This means they meet the requirements of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance and give customers the ability to easily integrate nexofox's software products into their own or an existing IIoT ecosystem. During the show, the nexofox team will present the connection according to the AAS approach live at the Dunkermotoren booth twice a day - at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Smart Diagnostics is only one of the nexofox products demonstrated at the show. MotionCode, Dunkermotoren's free programming environment, allows automation without a classic PLC. And the company's own motor controller BGE 5510 dPro turns any motor into a smart motor.
Dunkermotoren itself will, among others, be presenting the NG 1000 WO hub gearbox.
WO means "with Offset". This allows a space-saving installation through axial offset of the gearbox to the motor. After the NG 250 and NG 500 hub gearboxes, the NG 1000 WO completes the product portfolio of AGV solutions. The combination of the smart BLDC motor BG 95x80 dPro, the hub gearbox NG 1000 WO, the brake E 600 R and a safe encoder is a real space-saver and only 600 mm long. The low overall height of only 95 mm offers further advantages in terms of dimensions.
MAE is focusing on the close integration of Dunkermotoren and MAE products at the sps 2022. In future, MAE customers will be able to combine stepper motors with gearboxes, encoders and electronics via the innovative Dunkermotoren modular system. The new “STE” stepper motor versions with integrated electronics perfectly complement the product portfolio. All products are completely made in Europe.
EGS Automation will, as on the Hannover Fair and the LogiMAT already, also be represented at the Dunkermotoren booth. The robotics and automation specialist will be available for discussions and questions around automation and robotics.
