THOMSON INDUSTRIES TO EXHIBIT LINEAR MOTION SOLUTIONS AT WOTS 2022
Thomson Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of linear motion control solutions, has announced its participation in the upcoming World of Technology and Science (WoTS) trade fair in Utrecht, Netherlands, from September 27 – 30, 2022. WoTS is the largest industrial trade fair in the Benelux and covers the entire spectrum of automation, laboratory, and industrial processing.
The extensive line of Thomson linear motion components includes linear actuators, ball and lead screws, linear bearings and guides, slides and positioning tables, and much more.Thomson will showcase its broad portfolio of linear motion solutions with a special focus on its cutting-edge electric linear actuators, which are ideal for replacing hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. With flexible onboard controls, including optional, built-in CAN bus support, Thomson electric actuators provide many modern benefits such as improved controllability, a safer work environment, and significant cost reductions.
Another key part of the Thomson exhibit will be its high-load ball screws, which move more than twice the load of a standard ball screw, while providing a significantly longer and more reliable life. These German-engineered precision components are made for the most demanding industrial applications and are available in sizes from 40 - 160 mm in diameter with a maximum dynamic load capacity of 1,440 kN.
Thomson electric linear actuators are used in all types of equipment to automate processes, remove people from dangerous situations, provide remote control or make difficult/tedious/manual jobs easier.
Thomson has been providing motion control solutions for more than 75 years, and has extensive experience in numerous industries, including mobile off-highway, medical and health, packaging, food processing, material handling, factory automation, clean energy, and machine tool.
At WoTS, Thomson representatives will be on hand at stand 201 in hall A4 – a special area called ‘World of Motion & Drives” – alongside Altra Industrial Motion Inc. to discuss linear motion users’ application and customization needs.
