ANDRITZ received another order for a high-speed spunlace line from Zhejiang Kingsafe, China
ANDRITZ received from Zhejiang Kingsafe Hygiene Materials Technology Co., Ltd. in Hezhou, China, received an order to supply a new, complete neXline spunlace line.
The assembly and commissioning of the line are planned for the second quarter of 2022.
This high capacity neXline spunlace eXcelle line will process either 100% biodegradable fibers or a mixture of polyester and viscose. The line is specially designed for the production of nonwovens used in the fields of hygiene and medicine. The end products will have a basis weight of 30 to 100 gsm; the annual production capacity will be up to 18,000 tons per year.
ANDRITZ will supply a complete line from web formation to drying as well as integrate two high-speed TT cards, the renowned JetlaceEssentiel hydroentanglement system and a neXdry through-air dryer with neXecodry S1 energy-saving system. This combination is becoming the market benchmark for the production of lightweight spunlace nonwovens specifically intended for the hygiene market.

Zhejiang Kingsafe Hygiene Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 1987 and, with several spunlace lines in operation, is one of China's largest producers of spunlace and spunbond nonwovens. The end products are exported worldwide and are used in many areas, such as medicine, healthcare, high-tech agriculture and high-quality consumer and household items.
The new line is now the ninth spunlace line supplied by ANDRITZ and the third with high-speed TT cards, confirming the successful long-term cooperation between ANDRITZ and Zhejiang Kingsafe. The order also proves that the solution supplied by ANDRITZ is recognized as the benchmark in the production of high-quality spunlace roll goods and includes the perfect combination of processing machines for wet wipes.
