Wider Widths Now Available on Dorner’s New 2200 Series XL Conveyor

The new 2200 XL Series conveyor has widths up to 914 mm wide for more robust applications.

Dorner is expanding its 2200 Series Conveyor offering with a wider width version specifically designed for the European market. Dorner is an industry leader in the design, application, manufacturing and integration of precision industrial and sanitary conveyor systems.

The new 2200 XL Series, now available in widths up to 914 mm wide and 3,500 mm long, is designed to carry heavier loads up to 50 kg, depending on belt speed. A wider conveyor opens up the low profile 2200 XL Series to more diverse, heavier applications within industries such as material handling, metal working, packaging, automated and manual assembly, medical, pharmaceutical and others.

Belt tracking is a critical component of any conveyor, which is why the 2200 XL Series comes with V-guided belting for positive belt tracking. This “V” guide fits into a “V” groove that is cut into the end roller and the bed plate of the conveyor – thus holding the belt in place across the length of the conveyor and keeping it properly tracked. Additionally, the conveyor comes with a patented rack-and-pinion belt tensioning system for quick and accurate belt maintenance.

Features and performance specifications of the new 2200 XL Series conveyor include:

• Conveyor widths: 660 mm and 914 mm wide

• Conveyor lengths: 650 mm to 3,500 mm long

• Belt speed: up to 37 meters per minute

Options and accessories include:

• Fixed and adjustable height and single-post support stands

• Top of belt heights ranging from 310 to 2,250 mm, with fixed foot and caster-type stands

• Low side, aluminum side, adjustable guiding and tool-less adjustable guiding available

All 2200 Series standard and specialty belting options, along with standard and heavy load gearmotor options are available on the 2200 XL Series.
