VGSTUDIO MAX now compatible with Phoenix Datos
x CT Software from Waygate TechnologiesVolume Graphics announced today that its analysis and visualization software for industrial computed tomography (CT), VGSTUDIO MAX (3.4.2), is now compatible with Phoenix Datosx CT software from Waygate Technologies, a longtime business partner in industrial inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions.
Phoenix Datosx is an advanced, highly intuitive CT scanning software for fully automated data acquisition and volume processing with most of Waygate Technologies’ industrial CT systems. Volume Graphics released version 3.4.2 of VGSTUDIO MAX and its family of products, comprising VGSTUDIO MAX, VGSTUDIO, VGMETROLOGY, VGinLINE, and myVGL, in September 2020.
This new compatibility with VGSTUDIO MAX (3.4.2) and its add-on modules for specific areas of application enables Waygate Technologies customers to benefit from numerous improvements and enhancements introduced by Volume Graphics, such as
- the Reverse Engineering Module, which converts CT scans into CAD models;
- a new visualization option for deviations of geometric tolerances;
- and subvoxel-accurate defect detection.
“As a leading CT system manufacturer, Waygate Technologies is a long-standing hardware partner of Volume Graphics. Therefore, we are all the more pleased that its CT operation software is now fully compatible with version 3.4.2 of our software,” explains Nikita Fedorov, Head of Global Partner Management at Volume Graphics. “This opens up completely new possibilities for Volume Graphics users that use Waygate Technologies CT systems running Phoenix Datosx, such as the sophisticated function of reverse engineering.”
The following versions of the Phoenix Datosx software are fully or partially compatible with Volume Graphics software version 3.4.2:
- Versions 2.2.x, 2.6.x, 2.7.x, 2.8.x and 2.9.x of Datosx software are fully compatible
- Versions 2.3.x, 2.4.x and 2.5.x offer partial compatibility. These versions of Datosx software can be used in parallel with Volume Graphics software, except for the Voxelcalib, Easycalib and Volumeanalysis modules of the Datosx software.
