KEBA Live Dialog brings automation solutions to the office or home office
The new event format allows immersion in the world of KEBA industrial automation with the help of state-of-the-art technology. A 300 m² trade fair stand was set up at the headquarters in Linz. In keeping with the motto "Our trade fair stand comes to you", this allowed hundreds of trade fair discussions to be held via live video conferencing over the last four weeks, even though the very important trade fair for KEBA, the SPS in Nuremberg, did not take place as usual this year.
Mobile, high-performance technology enables video and sound transmission in the best quality."Nothing can replace a personal conversation. For this reason, it was important to us to create a format that enables precisely this, despite the adverse circumstances," Martin Schwarz, Managing Director of KEBA Industrial Automation, is enthusiastic. Compared to other formats, such as purely virtual trade fairs, the KEBA Live Dialog offers a more personal setting, as customers and interested parties do not participate in groups, but can obtain information in individual 1:1 appointments.
Hundreds of participants have taken advantage of the KEBA Live Dialog since November 23 to talk with KEBA experts and learn about the latest innovations in industrial automation. The highlights were the new Kemro X automation solution, which enables complete machine shop operation through a combination of several technology packages with just one hardware solution, wireless operation with the KeTop T15x safe wireless, the expansion of the energy-efficient multi-axis drive systems to include the PROFINET interface, and the topic of "The most accurate robot in the world".
"We knew that our KEBA Live Dialog offered a unique opportunity to present our KEBA industrial world. The positive feedback proved us right. Our event was a complete success," Christian Gabriel, Vice President General Automation, is also pleased.
The KEBA Live Dialog is characterized by the personal 1:1 conversation between the guest and the KEBA expert on site, in Linz/Austria.
KEBA shows the entire industrial automation portfolio
Products and solutions from the various industries in which KEBA is active were presented at the booth: From general mechanical engineering, robotics and the plastics industry to spindle technology and the machine tool industry as well as wind energy.
KEBA offers a unique selection of mobile and stationary handheld control units.
In the individual Live Dialog appointment, the participant meets a KEBA expert via live video chat, who is located at the trade fair booth. Of course, the applicable hygiene rules were observed and strictly adhered to on site. For example, the cameraman always wore a mask and maintained the appropriate distance from his colleague in front of the camera. In addition to the expert on site, a colleague from sales also took part in each of the appointments online. Each guest thus had the right contact person directly with them in the appointment, so that very high-quality and in-depth discussions could be held.
Every day, two teams were on site at the Linz headquarters and guided interested parties through the entire booth.
New format with future aspirations
The many lively discussions and exciting exchanges with customers and prospects have made the individual appointments very short-lived. In addition, the personal setting often allows for very in-depth conversations. The future will belong to both formats: virtual live dialogs without travel expenses and personal conversations at trade fairs and events complement each other perfectly.
