EVERYTHING FROM A SINGLE SOURCE – DATALOGIC PRESENTS ITS AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS FOR SEAMLESS MATERIAL HANDLING FROM PRODUCTION TO DELIVERY AT LOGIMAT
At Logimat in Stuttgart, stand A41, hall 3, Datalogic will be showing solutions that make the flow of materials seamlessly controllable, transparent and traceable.
From 10th to 12th March, visitors will discover a complete solution portfolio that covers all areas of logistics applications on the Datalogic booth. The wide spectrum presented ranges from sophisticated sorting systems based on camera technology to ruggedized mobile computers. Among them, our new AV500 imager and the brand-new, PDA, Memor 20.
The brand new, PDA, Memor 20 will premier in Logimat. It was developed to support users with a device that combines the best features of a smartphone with the highest standards of enterprise devices. The PDA that offers a big 5.7’’HD touch screen and IP67 protection in a smartphone-like design, delivers everything workers need to ensure utmost efficiency whether int the warehouse, or outside in the field The embedded Datalogic 2D ultra-slim imager – with Datalogic patented “Green Spot” technology for good-read confirmation - speeds up any kind of barcode reading.
The Memor 20, that has been validated by Google as an “Android Enterprise Recommended” rugged device, offers operators the familiar AndroidTM – Android 9 Pie -- user interface to simplify and speed up deployment. For improving productivity in multitasking, hands-free environments the PDA is equipped with a secondary notification display on top of the device. This allows users to immediately see a preview of incoming notifications and decide on the spot whether to interrupt a current task or to finish before reacting to the notification.
To guarantee constant operation 24/7, Memor 20 comes with wireless charging technology. This technology, known from the smartphone market, ensures fast and easy charging and at the same time reduces downtime and maintenance caused by dirty or defective contacts. Additionally, the one-piece battery can be swapped by users in field.
With the new AV500 imager, Datalogic introduces an innovative 2D image-based barcode reader developed for sorting applications. The new imager solves high speed applications covering all conveyor sizes, as well as static reading applications. Fast and secure sorting of objects with different dimensions – even irregular ones – are the challenges users are facing today. With its dynamic autofocus and its innovative optical technology, the AV500 imager combines flexibility with reliability to solve such demanding applications. Since codes are captured multiple times under the reading array, excellent reading performance for damaged or plastic covered codes can be achieved. This results in a 50% effective increase of throughput volume versus other traditional 2D imager-based solutions.
