The Pilz series of “Automation on Tour” events kicks off with “Safe implementation of CE marking” - The 2020 tour! – “Safe automation” with Pilz
The Pilz series of “Automation on Tour” events will launch from March 2020 with the “Safe Automation” seminar series. It is part of a series of practical events organised by the automation company Pilz from Ostfildern. The seminar series is held free of charge across Germany and focuses on hardware and software engineering in the CE marking process, through to full validation and documentation of machinery safety.
The “Safe Automation” seminar series answers the question, “how can a machine be safe?” In this case the focus is on “safety”, in other words machinery safety. A look at “safety and security” is another key area of focus for the full series of events.
Know exactly how to detect hazards!
Using practical examples, delegates discover how to identify hazards and estimate the resulting risks in compliance with the standards. As a standards’ expert, Pilz provides an overview of the current requirements in its seminars, but that’s not all. It also looks at the future requirements of the relevant standards and directives.
In the practical section, Pilz experts use a safety gate application to demonstrate how to determine the required performance level PLr and how to create a safety concept. The aim is to work with delegates to develop the safety-related hardware and software solution.
This year Pilz will again be offering two different seminar series as part of the series of events. The second seminar series “Safe operation of plant and machinery” will start from September 2020.
