Industrial Edge AI Platform with High-Speed I/O

The German distributor Acceed GmbH has introduced the Nuvo-11000 series rugged embedded computers from Neousys Technology, targeting industrial automation, edge computing, and machine vision applications that require high computing throughput, rich connectivity, and scalable expansion capabilities.

The Nuvo-11000 series is a fanless industrial PC platform built around the latest Intel^® Core™ Ultra 200 processors, offering up to 24 cores and 24 threads as well as an integrated neural processing unit (NPU) capable of delivering up to 36 TOPs (tera operations per second) of AI acceleration. Supported memory reaches up to 96 GB DDR5-6400, and high-speed storage interfaces include an M.2 Gen5×4 slot capable of NVMe SSD read/write speeds exceeding 11 000 MB/s.

Performance and System Capabilities
The use of Intel’s Core Ultra 200 series on a TSMC 3 nm architecture yields an approximate 1.2× increase in CPU performance over previous generations while improving energy efficiency, making the series suitable for compute-intensive tasks such as real-time data processing, complex control logic, and AI inference workloads at the industrial edge. Integrated graphics and AI capabilities further extend applicability to vision systems and automated inspection.

Connectivity across variants includes up to five 2.5 GbE and one 1 GbE Ethernet ports with optional PoE+ support, an optional 10 GbE port for high-bandwidth networks, and up to eight USB 3.2 Gen2 ports. Isolated digital I/O channels support direct interaction with industrial sensors and actuators.

Industrial Edge and Expansion Features
The platform’s rugged, fanless design supports wide-temperature operation (−25 °C to +70 °C) and is designed for 24/7 use in harsh environments typical of manufacturing floors, logistics systems, and outdoor deployments. Expansion mechanisms include a PCIe Cassette system, proprietary MezIO^® interface for additional I/O types, and internal mini-PCIe slots, enabling integration of acceleration cards, communication modules, or specialized control interfaces without compromising reliability.

These characteristics make the Nuvo-11000 series applicable to edge AI tasks such as real-time machine vision, predictive maintenance analytics, distributed control systems, and multi-sensor industrial gateways where balancing compute power with robust connectivity is essential.
