Kollmorgen, a global leader in motion control systems, today announced the new TBM2G series of frameless servo motors, introducing features that simplify the design of collaborative, surgical, aerospace and defense and other robots while delivering optimal performance in a lighter, more compact package. These new motors will complement Kollmorgen’s existing TBM and KBM series of frameless motors.
In order to create more personalized and agile support for its customers in the EMEAI markets, Kollmorgen will be relying on a new business concept from 2021. Existing and new customers in the EMEAI will be served by their own local sales, support and service teams. In the past, the European markets and India were served from the German office in Ratingen, while Italy and Turkey were already organized locally. This approach is now to be extended to all EMEAI markets.
Kollmorgen has introduced the next generation of Motioneering, the company’s innovative servo sizing tool. Motioneering was introduced more than 20 years ago – the first tool of its kind – to help mechanical design engineers find the ideal motion products to build into their machines. It streamlines and simplifies the design process by incorporating 100+ years of Kollmorgen expertise about which motion solutions work best for specific applications such as factory automation, robotics, material forming, and many others.
