Increasing quality at the product and process levels

Solutions provider Eplan has already been offering cloud-based systems for a while. Eplan Data Portal is established worldwide as a manufacturer library for downloading device data. Since early 2019, Eplan eView has expanded the range of solutions with which ECAD projects can be viewed, verified and commented on using a redlining workflow. With Eplan ePulse, the company’s course towards agile cloud development is now being systematically continued in dialogue with customers and partners.

State-of-the-art efficient engineering

Ideally, a company’s engineering solution should also be supporting its digitisation strategy. But how is this best implemented? Solutions provider Eplan and its affiliate Cideon are presenting the “Efficiency Lab” at the heart of its trade show stand during the Hannover Messe – working in dialogue with visitors, a performance/target comparison is established as a basis for the systematic digitisation of engineering processes. The path taken into the cloud also consistently carries a company forward: Eplan eView is being presented to visitors as the first solution of the Eplan ePulse system. A third focus is the integrated value chain in cooperation with affiliate Rittal.

The challenge of data quality and data depth Eplan Data Portal: The path to an ideal device data set

Digital device data is the key element for efficient engineering. One of the biggest challenges for this is both the data quality and the depth of said data. The Eplan Data Portal is rising to this challenge: since the beginning of the year, the portal is being updated on a monthly basis. Users now also have a rating function for reviewing device data, thereby offering manufacturers practice-based feedback from the market. Furthermore, since the Hannover Messe, Lab Versions of the Eplan Data Portal allow users to try out the latest features.
