Drive specialist NORD DRIVESYSTEMS continues on the course of growth and success. Thanks to innovative new products and comprehensive investments – the largest in the company’s history so far – the family company from North Germany could increase its sales by almost 18 per cent in 2021, compared to the previous year, and further expand its position in the market. Also in 2022, customers can look forward to innovative and advanced drive solutions.

How intelligent drives from NORD DRIVESYSTEMS improve availability

For more than 30 years, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS has been developing and producing electronic drive technology and is one of the pioneers in innovative inverter technology. The portfolio includes motor starters and frequency inverters of up to 22 kW in decentralised designs and up to 160 kW for the control cabinet – characterised by scalable functions, high precision regulation, easy installation and operation. Different power classes, mounting options and communication modules ensure integration into all control architectures.

From 10 to 12 November 2021, the FMB trade fair once again brings together machine manufacturers and their suppliers. NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will be on site as an exhibitor in Bad Salzuflen (North Rhine-Westphalia) presenting the innovative DuoDrive geared motor, the energy-efficient IE5+ synchronous motor, the new decentralised NORDAC ON frequency inverter as well as the NORDAC PRO SK 500P control cabinet inverter.

NORDAC FLEX frequency inverters from NORD DRIVESYSTEMS are true allrounders: They not only offer a wide power range, but also work very economically. The NORDAC FLEX SK 205E series has been specially designed for use with baggage transport systems at airports or conveyor systems in parcel distribution centres.

The overall portfolio of MAXXDRIVE^® parallel and right-angle gear units from NORD DRIVESYSTEMS offers high output torques from 15 to 282 kNm across 11 sizes. In addition to this proven standard series, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS offers the new MAXXDRIVE^® XT series with right-angle gear units having a thermally optimised design in seven sizes from 15 to 75 kNm.

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS has developed a powerful combination for use in mixing and agitation processes: The MAXXDRIVE^® industrial gear units with the new SAFOMI-IEC adapter is specifically developed for mixers to improve operational reliability and reduce the need for the replacement of wearing parts. In combination with the NORDAC FLEX SK 200E frequency inverter for the power range up to 22 kW, a flexible unit with low maintenance is offered.

The two-stage MAXXDRIVE^® XT right-angle gear units from NORD are ideally suitable for belt conveyor systems in heavy-duty applications for the bulk material handling industry. They are available in seven sizes for powers from 50 to 1,500 kW with output torques between 15 and 75 kNm.
