The smart cameras of the AX series from Baumer are among the best innovations in industrial image processing. That is was the readers of the trade magazine inspect say in the voting for the inspect award 2022 which has been presented at VISION in Stuttgart today.

New sensor CombiLevel PLP70 automatically adapts to outstandingly varied media and offers user-friendly process monitoring thanks to the large touch display. To users, the most interesting innovation of the PLP70 potentiometric level sensor is its performance in media of low minimum conductivity.

The Smart Cameras of the AX series pave new ways in intelligent image processing. Apparently, the Jury of the inspect award 2022 by the publisher Wiley-VCH is of the same opinion. The board of experts of the industry publisher (“inspect”) has nominated the Baumer AX series for the inspect award in the “Vision” category.

The CleverLevel PL20 point level sensor from Baumer wins its next trophy. In the vote for Product of the Year, readers of the trade journal Computer & Automation voted the proven process sensor into second place in the sensor category.

Measuring conductivity in the smallest space: The new Baumer PAC50 process sensor sets new standards and is perfect for small-sized production installations. The new product development from the Swiss sensor company scores with high performance tightly packed in a very compact design.

Baumer adds new OT300 and OT500 sensors to their portfolio of photoelectric sensors. The sensors offer a large detection range of up to 2.6 m thanks to time-of-flight measurement. Independent of the angle of installation, the sensors will reliably detect objects, even with a demanding surface. Due to the compact design, 3D CAD data with integrated beam path and standardized IO-Link interface they easily integrate and enable convenient parameterization.

Screw-on strain sensors frequently provide a clever alternative to force measurement. Particularly for large forces, they are significantly more cost-efficient than force sensors.Additionally, they allow different force ranges to be covered by just one sensor and can be integrated quickly and easily into existing machines and systems.

Baumer's smart multi-tool profile sensors enable fast solutions for individual measurement tasks. The measurement functions have been directly integrated in the sensor.
